Please join the Northampton Center for the Arts, A.P.E. Ltd., and Northampton Open Media at 33 Hawley for an opening reception with refreshments and live music during Arts Night Out on Friday, 10/9 from 5:00-8:00 pm!
Northampton Center for the Arts is excited to present Deb Lohmeyer’s “Say Hello” at the Barn Door Gallery. Join us to meet our neighbors, many of whom are houseless, as we work to break down stereotypes and encourage others to acknowledge their presence by at least “saying hello.”
In the Split Level Gallery, come see “Common Ground,” which brings together the work of senior artists from Mount Holyoke College, curated by Lisa Iglesias. As these seniors approach the threshold between undergraduate study and what comes next, “Common Ground” offers an opportunity to pause, gather, and consider where they have been and where their practices might lead them.
Live music
NOHO Art Club
Head downstairs to Eli’s Room for a Noho Art Club meet-up from 5:00-8:00 PM. Come play with collage and check out Paige Quinn-Vasic’s demos! Bring your craft and join us to play, craft, and connect with your local arts community.
Talk Nothing Podcast
Join Northampton Open Media in their lower-level office for the recording of Talk Nothing Podcast from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. Share what you’ve learned over the year, a recipe, a song, or simply listen in. Recording starts at 6 PM!
All exhibits can also be seen during open hours Wednesday through Saturday, 12-7 p.m. More information about the Barn Door Gallery can be found here, and the Split Level Gallery here.
