Please join the Northampton Center for the Arts, A.P.E. Ltd., and Northampton Open Media at 33 Hawley for an opening reception with refreshments and live music during Arts Night Out on Friday, 8/14 from 5:00-8:00 pm!

Northampton Center for the Arts is excited to present Sophia Jakobson’s “Please Return To:” at the Barn Door Gallery. This intimate exhibition explores queer identity, belonging, and transformation through body, landscape, and memory. Don’t miss this moving interactive reflection on finding home in yourself and the world around you.

In the Split Level Gallery, come see “SIX SEVVUHNN,” works by Ethel Poindexter and Lora Talbot, curated by Sophie Gill and Adrienne Albro-Fisher as part of A.P.E.’s Emerging Curator Program. This powerful show delves into vulnerability, courage, and pride through dynamic reliefs and abstract paintings that boldly explore the realities of being an artist today.

Ki’mari Lavender is an electrifying R&B/Pop artist, known for captivating audiences with her original music and stunning cover performances. She brings a unique energy to every show, making each performance unforgettable!

NOHO Art Club

Head downstairs to Eli’s Room for a Noho Art Club meet-up from 5:00-8:00 PM. Come play with collage and check out Paige Quinn-Vasic’s demos! Bring your craft and join us to play, craft, and connect with your local arts community.

Talk Nothing Podcast

Join Northampton Open Media in their lower-level office for the recording of Talk Nothing Podcast from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. This all-ages, four-person, first-come-first-serve podcast welcomes anyone to start a conversation based on their imagination or using the provided topic cards. Share what you’ve learned over the year, a recipe, a song, or simply listen in. Recording starts at 6 PM!
