Seven Moons From Jupiter
Jupiter Ariel, aka Lex Grotesque
June - June
Opening Reception on Arts Night Out
This collection of art pieces was created by Jupiter Ariel, aka Lex Grotesque, including work by their youngest part, a 7-year-old girl named Seven. Jupiter sees themselves as a system rather than a single person. Through parts work (internal family systems therapy) and other internal and spiritual healing practices, Jupiter has developed these artworks, which emerged from various states of consciousness. The collection features mediums like collages, acrylic paintings, textiles, and recycled materials, all created during a multi-year emotional, spiritual, and healing journey. One piece, "The Beginning of Self-Discovery," was created by Seven alone, reflecting her deep desire for clarity and belonging. Each artwork captures layered emotions, often sealed with resin to safeguard and deepen the meaning as they explore self-awareness and surroundings. This exhibit guides viewers on a personal journey of discovery, understanding, and caring for the different parts (personalities) that have emerged over the years.

We Contain Multitudes
Curated by M Rudder
June 4 - June 26
Opening Reception on Arts Night Out
Together, this group show will build a container that uplifts, centers, and celebrates the multitudes that we hold within ourselves, emotionally, physically, mentally, spiritually, and in community from a 2SLGBTQIA+ and/or BIPOC perspective.

M (they/them) is a local creative and entrepreneur who co-founded Yet Another Queer Pop-Up Market, HYPHAE, and Rooted Resilience, and who seeks to create ventures that build economic stability and belonging for the vibrant community of 2SLGBTQIA+ and BIPOC creatives who are often under-represented in the art world. Their own creative work explores and affirms the multitudes we contain through the lens of the natural world, identity, and the sacred.
