THE POETRY COLLABORATIVE
The Poetry Collaborative is an ongoing poetry critique group with a similar format to the stand alone Poetry Critique Meet-up sessions. At each session, poets are invited to bring two poems or two pages of poetry. In addition to getting concrete feedback on your writing, what is working and what may benefit from revision, this is a unique opportunity to be in community and offer your observations to other poets over several months. Michael will offer guidance and a short poetry monologue at each session. In addition to the four sessions, each participant will be invited to schedule a one-hour optional consult with Michael, which can be tailored to the individual to include poetry feedback, submission guidance, manuscript construction, and more.
The Poetry Collaborative will meet on Zoom on the fourth Sunday of each month from January through April, from 1:00-3:30pm EST (1/25, 2/22, 3/22, 4/26). This is a new offering with an option to extend if there is interest. The class limit is five poets, and the deadline to register is January 10TH.
