PLAYFUL VINYASA YOGA
Laura teaches vinyasa yoga grounded in her belief that when we are at home in our bodies, we feel more ease, joy and confidence. To Laura, yoga can be playful and can get you in touch with how playing in your body can help you to grow stronger. She believes that staying strong and attuned to our body’s need to move are keys to aging gracefully and more comfortably. Laura's vinyasa yoga classes integrate yoga, creative movement and barre blend (for strength building). She also often teaches to fun music that encourages us to “dance our yoga.”
As a trained yoga teacher, Laura's instruction is grounded in anatomy and alignment and how to keep your body safe as you play. She teaches her students to learn to find the alignment in their poses through subtle adjustments that they learn to make for themselves by listening inside and following her instructions.
Laura also teaches a Family/Children's Yoga class that meets just before this one.
About the instructor: Laura is a RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher).
