DANCING WITH PLAY & PATHOS WITH MADELYN FARR

FOUR THURSDAYS, JULY 9-30, 5:30-7:00PM

COST: $100-$200, SLIDING SCALE*

Summer’s coming! Time to come out and play! As older adults, hopefully with memories steeped in summery spells of joy, we are also well acquainted with the bittersweetness embedded in life’s fleeting delights. This new series of five classes, Dancing with Play & Pathos, is Madelyn’s latest incarnation of her mission to ignite the expressive potential of the experientially mature at its deepest. Fancy free, we will revel in the playfully creative possibilities of our expressive range. Be prepared for eruptions of giggles and laughter along with feelings of amazement at just how inventive we can be! At the same time, there will be ample opportunity to commune with the sublime in motion as we sample the emotive shades of pathos at the heart of the Dancing With…. programs.

It’s only in a judgement free zone that letting go and experiencing our potential at its most delicious can occur. We do that together in the empathetic embrace of an encouraging circle of movers. All levels of experience are welcome, the only requirement is the calling urging you to participate!

“I’d love you to join us! We’ll experience the duality of playing like children and moving soulfully together as adults, sharing in the exquisite beauty that I believe only the bittersweet can stir within.” - Madelyn
