PERFECT BEASTS is an evening of solo bouffon performance by Stephen Daytime and Joshua Kilcoyne, devised and presented in collaboration with Jay Dunn.

Bouffon is a form of modern clown and physical theater rooted in the art of satire and mockery. Bouffons are voracious, lustful, mischievous creatures to whom nothing and no one is sacred. They are seductive mimics and shameless provocateurs who revel in ridiculing everyone and everything around them. The audience laughs at the clown - the bouffon laughs at the audience.

These performances are being presented in conjunction with a one-day Bouffon Fundamentals Workshop on Sunday, April 26. Workshop students will be granted free admission to the show. More details on the workshop are available here.

Total runtime approximately 75 minutes, no intermission.
Not suitable for children under 12 years of age.

About the performers: Stephen Daytime is a playwright, puppeteer, clown and actor based in Montreal. Joshua Kilcoyne is an interdisciplinary performance artist (and Hampshire College graduate) currently based in the Catskills.
