​This classical, portrait fundamentals drawing class covers the structure, movement, and construction of the head in relation to the upper torso. Students work from a live model in the same long pose for all five weeks. Each week begins with a short lecture by artist and instructor Rami Baglio on construction, light effect, and anatomy concepts pertaining to each next stage of the portrait. This is followed by drawing time for all paired with one-on-one drawing help and feedback. This course covers details of facial features. For beginner through more advanced artists, adults, and teens!

About the instructor: Rami Baglio is a Northampton, MA and formerly New York City- based artist who holds a BA from Hampshire College and an MFA from the New York Academy of Art. She is classically trained in portrait and figure painting and drawing.
