THE ART OF INTUITIVE TAROT READING

Tarot is not about predicting the future, it’s about listening deeply. Over eight Saturdays, we’ll gather to explore the tarot as a tool for self-inquiry, intuitive connection and development. Whether you’re brand new to the cards or looking to deepen your existing relationship with them, this workshop invites you into a grounded and imaginative practice of reading with your eyes, heart, and not just by the book.

Through a balance of structure and openness, each session will weave together tarot theory, creative exercises, embodied intuition, and time for reflection. We’ll cover the basics, major and minor arcana, suits and elements, numerology, and common spreads, while also making space to discover your own voice as a reader.

What to Expect:

  • A foundational understanding of the tarot deck, its structure, symbols, and archetypes

  • Practices to strengthen your intuition and personal connection to the cards

  • Exercises in storytelling, pattern recognition, and non-linear interpretation

  • Group practice and discussion in a kind, inclusive space

  • Optional journaling and creative prompts between sessions to deepen your experience

Heather Geoffrey is an interdisciplinary artist, arts administrator, and intuitive guide with over 30 years of experience working with the tarot. She currently serves as co-director of the Northampton Center for the Arts. Her work, both artistic and intuitive, is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and a deep reverence for the personal and collective journey. Heather experiences artmaking as an ongoing dialogue between the seen and unseen worlds: the physical, emotional, spiritual, and imaginary realms that are always in conversation. From this space, her creations emerge as portals and invitations into other worlds that awaken a sense of wonder and inner knowing. Whether through collage, painting, photography, or tarot, Heather’s practice invites others to slow down, listen deeply, and rediscover the magic already present in their lives.
