Maybe you have a secret wish to learn how to draw, or maybe it’s something you once loved to do but it’s been years since you tried? Good news! Drawing from observation is a skill that can be learned and practiced, like reading or riding a bike, or any other skill.
In this 6-week class, we will explore the concepts and strategies offered by Betty Edwards’ classic book, Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain. This is a gentle, accessible and meditative approach to drawing, and no previous experience is required. Through a series of guided drawing activities, we’ll slow down and gain practice drawing what we perceive. You’ll be surprised by what you can create!
All materials are included, just bring yourself and your creative spirit!
