COSTUME CLINIC WITH MICHELLE

Do your kids have ambitious Halloween costume ideas that you don’t quite know how to make happen? Are you thinking of dipping your toe into Cosplay, but you need some support?  Are you ready to level up your costume game in general?  Well, come to Costume Clinic and make your dreams a reality! 

Together we will learn about different materials, and construction techniques, from machine sewing to, up-cycling, to EVA foam “smithing.”  Bring your ideas, works in progress and questions to this individually tailored workshop to make your costume dreams come true!

Materials are dependent on individual projects. Please contact instructor before the first class to discuss material needs. 

Michelle Sullivan is a lifelong home sewist with a special interest in garment history, engineering, design and construction.  Michelle holds a BA in Theater from UMass Amherst, and continues to enjoy a 29 year career as an educator in Hampshire and Hamden counties.
