FREE!

Please join the Northampton Center for the Arts, A.P.E. Ltd., and Northampton Open Media at 33 Hawley for an opening reception with refreshments and live music during Arts Night Out on Friday, 4/,10 from 5:00-8:00 pm!

The Northampton Center for the Arts presents “The Land is Still Good” in the Barn Door Gallery. Through dimensional mixed media and immersive audiovisual installation, artists J. Diane Martonis, Adam Michael Kozak, and Kerry St. Laurent create a space where ruin becomes foundation and grief coexists with regeneration. In shadow, soil, and sound, resilience emerges as quiet persistence.

In the Split Level Gallery, experience the extraordinary talent of our local arts community like never before in their group show “Revelry at 33”! Immerse yourself in the creative brilliance of 21 exceptional visual artists featured in this year’s Artist Membership Project 2026. Witness how this diverse group has connected, collaborated, and inspired one another to curate an exhibit that celebrates each artist’s unique vision and outstanding skill. Don’t miss this vibrant showcase of imagination and community!

Live music by Hive Mind

Hive Mind is a duo jazz ensemble composed of Will Smith on the saxophone and Tobin on drums/guitar from Northampton. They can be found on Instagram, Bandcamp, and YouTube.

NOHO Art Club

Head downstairs to Eli’s Room for a Noho Art Club meet-up from 5:00-8:00 PM. Come play with collage and check out Paige Quinn-Vasic’s expressive botanical watercolor demos, which she’ll be offering through the Center soon! Special guest, Noho Art Club member Nicole Newell-Marcus, will display her hand-sewn bunny dolls and tiny knit sweaters and offer embroidery demonstrations. Bring your craft and join us to play, craft, and connect with your local arts community.

Talk Nothing Podcast

Join Northampton Open Media in their lower-level office for their second recording of Talk Nothing Podcast from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. This all-ages, four-person, first-come-first-serve podcast welcomes anyone to start a conversation based on their imagination or using the provided topic cards. Share what you’ve learned over the year, a recipe, a song, or simply listen in. The 3rd episode kicks off this Friday (3/13), with recording starting at 6 PM!

All exhibits can also be seen during open hours Wednesday through Saturday, 12-7 p.m. More information about the Barn Door Gallery can be found here, and the Split Level Gallery here.
