DANCING WITH GESTURE & ENCHANTMENT WITH MADELYN FARR

SIX THURSDAYS, APRIL 2 - MAY 7, 5:30-7:00PM

COST: $125-$250, SLIDING SCALE*

In this six-class spring series, you will explore the power of gesture to evoke the magic of joyful expression and connection within ourselves and with one another. Like incantations, gestures are imbued with a creative force that can ignite our soul urges into expressive completion. We will play with unleashing the impact of our gestures as we develop a personal expressive toolkit. With music as our muse, our journey moves through a varied landscape of feeling as we recognize the gestural forms that capture what we yearn to convey. Together, we create a non-judgmental space, holding ourselves and each other in warm, empathetic regard throughout. All levels of experience are welcome; the only requirement is a calling urging you to participate.

“There’s deep, soul-quenching delight in dancing with gestures, particularly as we learn to kindle the surge of inspired energy into our gestural containers. It’s a joy for me to share this experience with others!” - Madelyn
