Please join the Northampton Center for the Arts, A.P.E. Ltd., and Northampton Open Media at 33 Hawley for an opening reception with refreshments and live music during Arts Night Out on Friday, 2/13 from 5:00-8:00 pm!

The Northampton Center for the Arts presents “Nature Printed, Stitched, and Pieced” in the Barn Door Gallery. Fiber artists Amanda Maciuba, Sharon McCartney, and Bonnie Sennott use hand and machine embroidery, sewing, surface design, and printmaking techniques to create original textile art rooted in the natural world.

A.P.E. Ltd. presents “Mutating Origins in the Mezzanine, by Adeyemi Adebayo, and in the Lower Level Split Level Gallery is “Listen to My Photographs,” a work by artists from the Care Center. Adeyemi creates a powerful photographic journey exploring the lives and identities of migrants as they leave their homeland. The work of students in The Care Center's high school equivalency program for young mothers explored the art of storytelling through a series of photography workshops led by Ani Rivera, Mari Champagne, and Madeline Keating. Come see the narratives and stories both exhibits hold.
