“Hi, I’m Kaci — a mom, dancer, and the founder of Empowered Movement. I discovered dance after my daughter was born, during a time when I was trying to reconnect with myself and rebuild my confidence. What started as a way to move my body turned into something much deeper — it helped me find my voice, heal, and feel powerful in ways I never expected.
I created Empowered Movement — a space where everyone feels welcome, celebrated, and safe to be themselves. I never felt like I truly fit in anywhere, so I wanted to build something different, somewhere people felt welcomed with open arms, somewhere we can lift each other up & have so much fun!
No dance experience is ever needed here. You don’t have to “know how to dance” — you just have to show up as you are. Modifications are offered throughout every class! The choreo is a light guide that you are always welcome to adjust to what is best for your body!
Our classes are filled with energy, encouragement, and unapologetic self-expression. You’ll see people wearing fun, sexy outfits, cheering each other on, and moving in ways that feel good — not just look good. Whether it’s through sensual movement, contemporary expression, or just letting loose on a Friday night, my mission is simple: to help you feel confident, connected, and empowered in your own body.
