Dancing Through the Floor is a new class series focused on the delights and challenges of floorwork! These classes will increase your comfort on the floor level through technical movement patterns, slides, rolls, impulses, and jumps. Movement improvisation on the floor will awaken more flow in the body, while movement phrases and choreography will challenge and grow coordination and memory. This is an intermediate/advanced class in a contemporary modern style. Students should have experience in modern dance, though newcomers to floorwork are very welcome, along with those looking to deepen their floorwork skills.
