Lively Dance is an after-school dance program that local choreographer Martha Lively began at the Heath Elementary School in 1997. She has since expanded her program to include many of the Hilltown schools, offering not only yearly programs but also eight-week programs. Lively’s goal is to keep dance accessible to all.

At the Center, Lively will teach two classes every Tuesday:
** Street Funk, a combination of several dance idioms, introducing current hip-hop and funk styles; This class is for ages 7 to 9 and meets from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. It includes warm-up, movement across the floor and ends in a funky combination.
** Jazz dance is for ages 10 to 13 and meets from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. It is a high-energy class that will blend...
