Hourly Rates
Please note—Fees are calculated from time of arrival to time of departure.
- Monday through Thursday per hour until 6 p.m.
Artist/Nonprofit: $20, Private: $30 - Monday through Thursday per hour after 6 p.m.
Artist/Nonprofit: $35, Private: $45 - Friday/Saturday per hour all day
Artist/Nonprofit: $40, Private: $65 - Sunday per hour, two-hour minimum
Artist/Nonprofit: $30, Private: $40
Block Rate
Friday/Saturday only 2 p.m. – midnight (10 hours: additional hours may be added to a block as per above hourly rates)
Artist:/Nonprofit: $350, Private: $600Overtime rate
Per hour anytime: Artist/Nonprofit/Private: $50
In-house technical support per hour (required)
Artist/Nonprofit/Private: $15
Cleaning
Mandatory for most events
Artist/Nonprofit/Private: $75, if food and beverages are served; $50 in other cases.
Lights
There is a charge of $25 per day for use of the light board
Theatrical lights can only be run by an NCFA-approved technician. The fee for this service may be included as part of in-house technical support if a tech is available. Arrangements for hanging and focusing of lights are separate and involve additional fees.
Sound:
Renter will provide own sound system unless special arrangements for the use of the NCFA sound system have been made. Only an approved tech may operate NCFA equipment. The charge for the use of the NCFA system is $25.
Set up or strike
Basic (chairs only): Artist/Nonprofit/Private: $25
Full (chairs, stage, risers): Artist/Nonprpofit/Private: $60
*The rental fee does NOT include the use of adjacent galleries, which are available by special arrangement only, in writing, as part of the rental contract.
In addition, rental rates for the performance hall are sometimes negotiable, depending upon length and/or frequency of a rental reservation.
