 f new works May 31 and June 1. The concert will feature dances by company m
 embers Susan Waltner and Amy Kotel\, as well as choreography and improvisat
 ion directed by Dance Generators’ Artistic Director Kristin Horrigan.

 \nThe Dance Generators are an intergenerational company consisting of 18 me
 n and women who range in age from 22 to 89. Company members come together t
 hrough a shared commitment to expressive movement and innovative art making
 . Their work challenges audiences’ ideas about dance and shatters stereot
 ypes about aging. Founded in 1997 by Amie Dowling\, the Dance Generators we
 re a company-in-residence at A.P.E. in Northampton until 2008\, and they ha
 ve toured widely throughout New England. This season with the closing of th
 e Thornes Marketplace location of A.P.E.\, the Dance Generators have found 
 a new home at Northampton Center for the Arts.
