Visit at Least Two Arts Night Out Events on June 13
At the Center for the Arts, meet our June artist, Ben Sears, a painter and teacher who has lived in the Pioneer Valley for three years. A full-time teacher at the Amherst Regional High Schooo and chair of the art department, Sears says, "My paintings dell with the growth and decay that exist in both physical and psychological environments. The imagery in my work is informed by observations and memories from my childhood."
And at 126 Main Street, Commonwealth Center for Change (C3) will launch its "Storefront ART" program at A.P.E.’s new Window Gallery. A stellar line-up of young local artists will present their work on Northampton's June Arts Night Out in an evening of dance, theater, folk music, video, photography, painting, installation and drawings, not to mention hula hooping and a wandering brass band! We mention this because the Center is helping to publicize the event. Please note the new address for A.P.E.
